The Treasure Coast Chapter of FPRA celebrated its 25th Anniversary at a wonderful reception, tour and show at the Sunrise Theatre for the Performing Arts in historic downtown Fort Pierce last Tuesday. This unique event, highlighted by “Footloose: The Musical,” featured a special behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre, stage and dressing rooms, fantastic hors d’ouevres by Brewers’ Café, a historical rundown of past presidents by Adrienne Moore, APR, CPRC and a toast by our Chapter Liaison and State Immediate Past President, Suzanne Sparling, APR, of the Space Coast Chapter. The Sunrise Theatre for the Performing Arts, especially FPRA member Renee Page, Sharon Engle and Executive Director John Wilkes, provided a beautiful reception area as well as exceptional hospitality – THANK YOU! If you haven’t had a chance to visit this magnificent venue, please call them for a tour or buy a ticket to one of their fabulous events. At the Annual Image Awards, it’s the President’s honor to announce the Communicator of the Year Awards. Nominations are now being accepted and forms are available on our website at http://www.fpratreasurecoast.com/. The Communicator of the Year award is given to a public relations professional, whether a member of FPRA or not, who demonstrates outstanding skills in one of the following four categories:
